Why it matters
One skin infection can empty your mats
Most gyms already mop every night, and that helps. But a nightly mop can't always reach what a deep clean does. When a skin infection shows up, owners ask members to sit out, but some keep training anyway and spread it to others. Competitors can fail a skin check and miss their event, losing entry fees, travel money and months of prep.
Members sit outLost training time
Ringworm, staph and MRSA can get in through a simple mat burn, leading to doctor visits, antibiotics, and weeks off the mat.
It spreads fastOne case becomes five
Germs can survive on mats for days, waiting for the next roll. That's how one case turns into five, spreading through kids' classes and competition prep.
Members talkReputation on the line
Word travels fast in your gym. If the mats don't feel clean, people start to talk, and one outbreak can send members out the door. When you're known for being clean, members stay and new ones sign up with confidence.
Keep up your daily clean, it matters. Our deep clean reaches what a quick clean can't.
Why I started
I love combat sports, martial arts and the community around them. I've been a fan for years and trained on and off for a long time. Then I caught a nasty case of ringworm at a gym, and it made me realize most gyms never get a regular deep clean.
As a veteran, I believe in doing the job right every time, even when nobody's watching. I keep it affordable so gym owners can give their members the best training space possible, and help make our community stronger.
